RIP: 06/10/2019 - Lochau
Fr. Viktor Liebel was born in Bad Waldsee in Germany on 24 July 1944. He finished his noviciate, pronouncing his first vows in the Society on 1 May 1965 in Passau. 9 years later, on 29 June 1974, he was ordained a priest in that same city. Fr. Viktor was for more than 10 years a prefect and teacher at the Salvatorian College in Bad Wurzach. After that, until his unexpected death on 6 October 2019, he lived and worked in the community of Lochau. Fr. Viktor was not only an artist who knew how to do pottery and wood carving, but he also was an enormously appreciated religious and priest, who helped and accompanied many wounded people in their needs in individual spiritual guidance.
