Pilgrims of hope. In the footsteps of blessed Francis Jordan and blessed Mary of the Apostles
Dear Pilgrims,
It is with great joy that we offer you a proposal for prayer with Blessed Francis Jordan and Blessed Mary of the Apostles.
The year 2025 is a Jubilee Year, whose main theme is hope and whose privileged type of prayer is pilgrimage. This is why we propose to make a pilgrimage with our Blessed ones.
We have prepared, for all those who wish to meet on the pilgrimage route, a proposal to go to 10 important churches for our Salvatorian spirituality.
As a preparation for setting out on the way, we offer some reflections with questions concerning selected key words (logo, courage, clothing, threshold).
Each stage of the pilgrimage follows the same rhythm and logic. Thus, the scheme of each stage consists of some information about the place (chapel, church or house), a reflection on pilgrimage and a thought of hope from the writings of the Blessed ones. Each place ends with a proposal of the intention with which to set off to the next point by praying the Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, or another chosen prayer. The intentions relate to the theme of vocation, as the main intention of the prepared prayer is to discover, deepen, and strengthen the vocation, which will be the discovery, deepening and strengthening of our best self, as that is God’s version of ourselves. Setting out on a journey in the company of the saints is a proposal for this discovery.
