RIP: 02/05/2020 - Trzebnica
Fr. Stanislaw Piwowarczyk was born on 19 April 1939 in the village of Czernichów near to Kraków. With the novitiate, he started his Salvatorian formation in Bagno, where he professed his first vows on 5 October 1958 and subsequently started his studies of Philosophy and Theology. He was or¬dained a priest at Trzebnica on 7 June 1965. Besides his apostolic activity in different parishes, his work as a chaplain and as preacher of retreats, Fr. Stanislaw had a great love for liturgy, a subject he taught for several years at the major seminary in Bagno. He died on 2 May 2020 in Trzebnica, in his 81st year of life, having been a Salvatorian for 61 years, after a long period of illness and suffering.
