RIP: 06/08/2019 - Milwaukee
Br. George Armstrong was born on 17 October 1932 in Peshtigo, Wisconsin (USA). He became a Salvatorian on 19 March 1955. He gently ministered in several communities, colleges and seminaries, but the biggest part of his religious active life he spent at St. Pius Retreat Centre in Blackwood, New Jersey as well as in the Jordan House Community in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he met with and ministered to people who were living in difficult situations in life. After having retired to Alexian Village at Milwaukee since 2000, he died on the Feast of the Transfiguration, 6 August 2019, at the age of 86.
