From 27 until 29 February 2024, the Preparatory Commission for the XX General Chapter met in the still new building of the Spiritual Formation Centre, in the historical city of Cracow, in Poland.
Under the lead of the Superior General, Fr. Milton Zonta and the proposed facilitator Fr. Paul Smyth cmf, Fr. Charles Mushitu (RDC/TdC), Fr. Adam Teneta (GE/PL), Fr. Johnson Vinoth Kumar (IMV/TdC), Fr. Adam Ziółkowski (PL) and Fr. Agustín Van Baelen (GE/VE), put their heads together and pondered over various aspects related to the XX General Chapter, which will begin in about 150 days, and will exactly take place in the same installations. Both the logistical aspects, the organisation and arrangement of the rooms, discussions with local confreres in charge, possible methodologies to approach points of interest, timing of events, liturgical celebrations, excursions, cost calculations, etc. were discussed in detail.
The confreres on site welcomed the guests very warmly and supported them in their work through brotherly conversations during meals and spontaneous moments of conviviality.
