In preparation for the XX General Chapter, each administrative unit within the Society was requested to conduct a preparatory chapter using the reflective and discerning method based on the three-fold action: Discover, Dream, and Propose. Consequently, the Indian Mission Vicariate organized its preparatory chapter from January 27-29, 2024, at Carmelaram, Bangalore.
The members of the Indian Mission Vicariate came together in a prayerful spirit and evaluated the outcomes of the community reflections on identity, communion, and mission. Through these dynamics, we were able to identify the available strengths and resources, as well as the weaknesses and challenges. Furthermore, the preparatory chapter also elected the delegates who will participate in the XX General Chapter.
May this General Chapter serve as an impetus for the Society's renewal.
