As a result of the ministry of Fr. Leonard Macionczyk SDS, chaplain at La Salle Catholic College, suburban Perth, WA, Australia, the administration of the high school has established an eighth “house” or permanent pastoral care division starting with the first term of 2015 and has dedicated it to our Founder, Fr. Francis Jordan.
The “Jordan House” is comprised of 250 students plus a number of faculty members who gather periodically for support, pastoral activities, and liturgy among other things.
The photo shows the house’s insignia designed by one of the students based on the Society’s emblem as well as the motto: “To Know, To Love, To Serve God.”
The school in previous years also honoured Fr. Laurence Murphy SDS by naming a building in his honor due to his long service as a board member of the school.
