On the evening of 5 November 2021, the Vicar General of His Holiness for the Diocese of Rome,
H.E. Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, presided the solemn Eucharist in which he consecrated,
according to the rite established by the Church,
the altar of the chapel dedicated to Blessed Francis Jordan
in the Mother House of the Salvatorians.
In his homily, the Cardinal thanked the Salvatorians on behalf of the Holy Father
for the service they are rendering and encouraged all
to continue to do good and to bear witness to Jesus, the Saviour,
who was rejected and crucified, but who is the cornerstone, the true altar of the Church.
He also said that he felt this celebration as a kind of continuation of the Beatification,
also presided over by the same Cardinal.
Yet another event by which we feel strengthened to follow Jesus,
in the style of the apostles,
in communion with all the spiritual sons and daughters of Blessed Francis Jordan.
Long live our Founder!
